Privacy Policy
Last Updated: May 14, 2026
relogica Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") respects the privacy of users ("you" or "user") of our smartphone application "Clippa" ("the App") and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information in the App.
About Data Storage
Videos edited and exported with the App are stored only on your device's Camera Roll. Video files themselves are never uploaded to our servers.
When you use the AI Auto-Clip feature, data extracted from the selected video (speech transcription, thumbnail frames, etc.) is sent to AWS's AI service. This data is used only for real-time analysis and is neither stored persistently nor used to train AI models (see Section 4 for details).
1. Information We Collect
The App collects the following information:
- Video Data: Videos selected by the user from the Photo Library (saved to the Camera Roll after editing and export)
- Project Data: Edit history and thumbnail images (stored only on the device)
- AI Analysis Data: When the AI Auto-Clip feature is used, the following data is extracted from the selected video: speech-to-text transcription, audio levels, scene change detection results, motion data, low-resolution thumbnail frames (up to about 100 frames), and the prompt text entered by the user
- Advertising Identifier (IDFA): An identifier used for ad delivery. Collected only when you grant permission through the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt
- Anonymous Device ID: An app-level anonymous identifier generated so that our server can recognize your device for the purpose of enforcing daily usage limits on the AI Auto-Clip feature
2. Where Information Is Stored
Videos edited and exported with the App are stored only on your device's Camera Roll. Project history is also stored only on your device. Video files themselves are never uploaded to our servers.
The data required for AI Auto-Clip analysis (the "AI Analysis Data" described in Section 1) is sent to AWS services described in Section 4. Such data is used only temporarily to process the analysis request and is not retained on our servers or on AWS.
Uninstalling (deleting) the App will delete the in-app project history, but videos saved to your Camera Roll will not be deleted. You can delete videos through your device's Photos app.
3. How We Use Information
Collected information is used only for the following purposes:
- Providing App functionality (editing, merging, speed adjustment, and exporting videos)
- Managing project history
- AI Auto-Clip feature (detecting clip candidates that match your prompt)
- Enforcing daily usage limits on the AI Auto-Clip feature
- Displaying advertisements and measuring ad performance
4. About AI Features
The "AI Auto-Clip" feature in this App uses Anthropic's Claude model running on Amazon Bedrock, provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- When you use the feature for the first time, we ask for your prior consent regarding data transmission. The feature cannot be used without consent
- You can revoke consent at any time from the "Settings" screen inside the App. After revocation, the AI feature will no longer be available
- The data sent for analysis is limited to: speech transcription, audio levels, scene changes, motion data, low-resolution thumbnail frames, and the input prompt
- The data is used only temporarily for analysis and is not used to train AI models
For details on how Amazon Bedrock handles data, see the AWS Privacy Notice and Amazon Bedrock data protection documentation.
5. Advertising
The App uses Google AdMob and Unity Ads to display advertisements.
- If you grant permission through the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt, we collect your Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and use it to display ads that better match your interests
- If permission is not granted, or if your iOS tracking setting is off, non-personalized ads are displayed instead
- Ad providers (Google / Unity Technologies) may independently collect IP addresses and ad-related usage information as part of delivering the service
For details, please review each provider's privacy policy:
- Google AdMob: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Unity Ads: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
6. Sharing Information with Third Parties
We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following cases:
- Technical processing by service providers described in this Privacy Policy:
- Amazon Web Services: AI Auto-Clip analysis processing (Anthropic Claude model on Amazon Bedrock)
- Google: Ad delivery (AdMob)
- Unity Technologies: Ad delivery (Unity Ads)
- When required by law
- With your consent
7. Data Deletion
Videos and projects edited with the App can be deleted by:
- Exported videos: Delete from your device's Photos app
- Project history: Delete from the App's home screen
- Revoking AI data sharing consent: Toggle off "AI Data Sharing" in the App's "Settings" screen
Uninstalling the App will automatically delete project history, but videos saved to your Camera Roll will not be deleted.
8. Children's Privacy
The App does not intentionally collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy due to changes in laws or the addition of new features to the App. The revised Privacy Policy will become effective when posted on this page.
