relogica Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") respects the privacy of users ("you" or "user") of our smartphone application "MofuTalk" ("the App") and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information in the App.

About Data Handling

To provide the AI translation feature, the App uploads photos and videos of your pets to our servers and sends them to a third-party AI service (Gemini AI, provided by Google LLC) for analysis. Uploaded media data is automatically deleted after a certain period following translation processing. Data sent to the AI service is not used for AI model training.

1. Information We Collect

The App collects the following information:

Account Information

  • Apple ID Authentication: Apple ID identifier used for login
  • Device Identifier: An anonymous ID to identify the device

Pet Information

  • Pet Profile: Pet's name, species, gender, birthday, memo
  • Profile Image: Pet's profile image

Content Data

  • Photos and Videos: Photos and videos of pets uploaded for translation
  • Translation History: Translated text and favorite settings

Usage Information

  • Translation Count: Number of translations used per day
  • Subscription Status: Free plan or premium plan usage status

2. How We Use Information

Collected information is used for the following purposes:

  • Providing App functionality (AI translation, voice reading, history management)
  • Sending pet photos and videos to an AI service (Google Gemini) to analyze pet expressions and gestures and translate them into text
  • Text-to-speech for translation results (using Amazon Web Services Polly)
  • User authentication and account management
  • Managing pet profiles
  • Managing subscriptions
  • Improving services and developing new features
  • Responding to inquiries

3. Data Storage and Management

Data Stored on Servers

The following data is stored on our servers:

  • Account information
  • Pet profiles
  • Translation history

Temporarily Stored Data

Photos and videos uploaded for translation are stored for a certain period after translation processing and then automatically deleted.

Data Stored on Device

The following data is stored only on your device:

  • Login status
  • App settings (appearance mode, font size, etc.)

4. Sharing Information with Third Parties

We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following cases:

  • Technical processing by service providers described in this Privacy Policy:
    • Google LLC (Gemini AI): Analysis of pet photos and videos (Photos and videos uploaded by users are sent to Google Gemini AI to analyze pet expressions and gestures. The transmitted data is not used for AI model training, and Google does not retain the data after analysis is complete. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.)
    • Amazon Web Services (AWS): Data storage and processing, text-to-speech (AWS Polly)
    • Apple: Authentication (Sign in with Apple), subscription management
    • Google LLC (AdMob): Ad delivery (ads are disabled on the Premium plan)
    • RevenueCat: Subscription management
  • When required by law
  • With your consent

Data Transmission to AI Services

When you use the translation feature of this App, the following data is sent to Google LLC (Gemini AI):

  • Pet photo or video data
  • Information about the pet's species, gender, and personality (to improve translation accuracy)

The above data is transmitted only after obtaining the user's consent within the App. Consent can be withdrawn at any time from the settings screen. If consent is withdrawn, the translation feature will become unavailable, but other features will not be affected.

5. Data Deletion

Users can delete their data in the following ways:

Deleting Translation History

Individual translation history can be deleted from the App's history screen.

Deleting Pet Profiles

Pet profiles can be deleted from the App's pet management screen.

Deleting Account

Account deletion can be performed from the App's settings screen. When you delete your account, all data stored on our servers (pet profiles, translation history, etc.) will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

6. Children's Privacy

The App does not intentionally collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If children under 13 use the App, please ensure they do so with parental consent and supervision.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy due to changes in laws or the addition of new features to the App. The revised Privacy Policy will become effective when posted on this page.
